    Haven't had a issue yet in any of the 48 states as long as it's 80000 or under. over 12000, under 12500 and under 34000 is common for me.

    Aw come on, don't you want to slide the fifth wheel all grossed out and everything. Maybe you could drop your drive shaft trying to move 300 lbs.

    the king pin to the rear axle is the guide on weights. I go with the shortest state. if it needs to be reworked. so be it

    while I'm thinking of it, lets say the drives are 34000, the tandems are 33700, the steers are 12300 and the tandems cant be moved. I'll roll with it.

    in regards to opening post and weights moving the 5th wheel wouldn't matter. its a waste of time.
