Not good swift investigation

I had heard that the Knights are cousins of his that did work for him at Swift, but got fed up with how he was running the company. The stories that are told about Jerry could fill volumes.

 

The Knight brothers were founding partners in Swift with Jerry Moyes, his brother, and Jerry's father. No relation, just neighbors and lifelong friends. Whey Jerry's father died, Jerry stepped in and weaseled control of the company from the Knights and his brother. His brother sued, so did the Knights. As part of the settlement, Knights signed a 4 year non-compete clause and started up Knight after that term was completed.

Jerry screwed Central ltl and Stinky Dick Simon out of their assets in much the same way to own Central and Central Refrigerated.

 

Sounds a lot like Bill Gates and Microsoft.
