Yes, working at roehl when I had an oversize load that took my 1300 miles then had a few Backhauls that ran up my miles that week. Take home was around 1900.

When I was a sheriffs deputy I made $4100 for a month, took home $3150. We got paid once a month there though.

In trucking though, so far my largest weeks net pay was that $1900 check

That's right. Can you imagine if we worked more than 5-6 months a year. Hell I'd be broke.:biggrin_2559:

FEMA pays $26.67 every hour your with them. You'll make $4,480 each week and bring home $1900 after health coverage also which is about $80. It does vary by state but but maybe $100 difference. $25 of that is taxed and $1.67 is untaxed for the meal allowance (per diem) or the bring home would be less. That's why I said it takes $4,400 to bring home $1,900. I know what I'm talking about.

I think it's taxed different by the month. Think have it figured x12 for once a month x26 for biweekly and x52 for once a week. It helps them figure out if they need use sandpaper, dry or Vaseline

Idk, I've just never had that much of a difference in my gross pay vs net. I've never seen 50% out of a paycheck.
