God forbid a few of them get off welfare or don't have to cook meth or sell their bodies and are employed by said truck stop... not to mention the tax revenue generated... but what do I know, I am just a stupid truck driver that would appreciate another place to sleep if nothing else. You know, so I don't run you over because I am dead tired.

Contrast that story with this one. Not only did the town of Rusk, TX allow this fellow to develop a truckstop on the edge town, they have him a sales tax rebate incentive for 5 years to encourage him, and the local paper put him on the front page of the Sunday Edition.
Wonder why people are leaving NY at a record rate, and people are moving into Texas in record numbers?
