No, they're not expanding the fleet. But the "empty truck" problem just shows me how little new drivers research the industry before they jump in. They read a brochure and think that it's all sugar and spice out here. They quickly find out it's not, so you now have an empty truck.
My point is, who's more "at fault" there, the prospective student not researching, or the recruiter/cdl mill? If the students would take a longer harder look at trucking, a lot less would be getting fleeced. I don't blame the salesman so much for selling his product. I put more blame on the consumer for writing a check before the look at the whole picture.

I did do my research with finding a school but I didn't research what trucking was all about! My brother was trucking for many of years and he worked for TMC and two other places. I should of asked him alot more questions before I even decided to fill out papers to go to the school

    Exactly.

Knowing what I know you could never get me to work for one of those big companies.

Just keep your head up and don't stop looking for that job!!

If you are consistent and don't give up you will get a break SOMEWHERE.

Misunderstood my post.....didn't mean you were a felon but Prime takes people who are felons so you'd have a chance to get on there.
