not so swift

Why was this even posted? And why, again, is Swift singled out? Swift isn't the only company that wrecks trucks. Just the other night a WalMart driver (it appears anyway) almost killed actor/comedian Tracy Morgan on the NJ Turnpike.

I don't drive for Swift, but everytime they have a high profile crash they are singled out and named on the forums, Facebook, etc. A crash can happen to ANYONE and ANY COMPANY.

 

Obviously whoever was behind the wheel wasn't doing much driving.

 

Sad story.My heart goes out to the victims family and friends.Just imagine what there all going thru right now and also the family of the trk drivers.

 

I agree. Probably should have been put in the "trucking accidents" section. If there's one thing I've learned from this site is that a few of the users can't find the right section for their posts.

 

The Tracy Morgan accident has made national news headlines. There was a fatality but it was not Morgan. It was a comedian and friend of his. Investigators are reporting that the Wal Mart driver fell asleep at the wheel and rear ended the limo van Morgan was riding in. I would say that this is going to give Wal Mart drivers more negative attention than Swift...for awhile anyway.

 

Sad to hear this glad it was finally updated heard about it on Facebook said they had the interstate shut down one driver passed it said it looked horrible. I'm trying to figure out how you cross the median out there been out there many times never had any issues guess some things are a mystery that'll never be solved.

Prayers go out to all who are involved hopefully they'll give us some more information soon on what actually happened but I wouldn't trust it to be accurate this is liable to end up a motor vehicle homicide and nobody is going to want to b charged in a case like this. Just a sad sad situation

 

There is no possible way to eclipse the negative publicity that Swift drivers receive and largely deserve.

 

I'm sure this is also frustrating for the SWIFT Diamond Driver elite. They probably get pigeonholed with all the idiot SWIFT drivers even though they have logged more than 2 million safe miles.
