You know there is something YOU need to learn really really quickly - this stuff isn't going anywhere for a long long time. I would deal with working at that place, get your paper work all in order, make copies that you can send into these companies quickly and then take your time leaving. IF you rush, then you may screw yourself in the long run. Leave the company on good terms so you have a backup IF YOU fail to be a driver.
Oh and pre-hires don't really mean much, it is a way to say you are qualified to apply here and that's about it.
Not sure what ro do...

Well today was more pre trip.driving, double clutching and backing. Have a chance to redeem myself and pass the combo test, air break and pre trip test next Friday then will be time to celebrate by taking kids and gf to 6 flags. When I pass all them test then only week away from driving test which includes driving around town and interstate. Double clutching isn't the easiest but manage to not grind the gears to bad by the afternoon. Backing was just like baking up a 16 foot trailor r fishing boat piece of cake. Actually from my experience today seems like longer the trailer easier it is to back up. Things r looking good. just gotta pass the combo and air break test so I can take the truck and trailer out of the yard to get ready for drive test.
