Poor guy, his head is still probably spinning. Take all the advice here and make a decision. On a site like this, you are going to get all kinds of responses. I would have killed for a site like this back in the day, as many times I took a job and found out shortly after it sucked. Remember, no one is going to hold your hand on this, you have to make the decision. You seem like a cool guy, and have been around, you are on the right track. My last bit of advice, again, give a notice, don't leave anyone hanging.
LOL my heads been spinning for a week now. Everything happened so fast. I applied for trucker school and a few trucking companys and before I knew it my phone was ringing off the hook in a matter of days. I was a lil unprepared to say the least. That's why I came here. Btw before I joined this forum I was a lurker for past month r so. Researching trucking is how I came to find this forum and THANK GOD I did. Yall have been more than helpful. Not easy being a rookie.
Not sure what ro do...

How many speeding tickets do you have and how much over the limit were you? Might make a huge difference whether you can get a good job or not.

Have 1 r 2 last five years. Have no problem starting at the bottom. I strive to impress with whatever job I'm doing and I'm sure after 1 r 2 years exp under my belt I'm sure I can get another job if needed.

Gonna talk to school in morning since there gonna be looking for me there at 7am and if there ok about me catching next class which will be 3 weeks away and call Schneider and see if both partys understand. Then put my 3 week notice in at my current job on conditions of giving me my 1 week vacation on that 3rd week r maybe 4th week. But who knows I may change my mind by morning and go to class lol.

Also, ran across this today. It's a class action lawsuit against Budweiser for unpaid OT to its truckers. A 2013 revenue of 43.2 billion, but can't pay. Hmmmmm.

I wish my company would hire you west tn but sadly they require 1 year at least. You sound like a good guy and i hope you find a good home.
However,be prepared to move around a bit until you find a good fit for you. That first year is critical.West TN Trucker and Chinatown Thank this. -

That's a stuffy , I would say do whatever way you think is the most correct , not having your license, ss card , if it were me I would want to be sure I had all ducks in a row first , but if our current company are jerking you around why would you feel obligated to " train your replacement " ,that's something I would probly not do again been there don that didnt know it at the time , good luck with the trucking, trucking requires patience above all so , ?
