OK lupe, you asked for comments, so I'm going to give a comment here. For the love of heaven, LOOK at all the threads on CR England. Take time to read a bit. They will tell you ANYTHING. I can't believe they didn't assure you that you could be off every Sunday, just to get you through the door.

You are asking a lot of questions here, and that is good. But do a little more research on your own as well. Actually look at the forum, and read some of the threads on these companies. Read some of the threads about how much you can expect to earn.

Nobody minds helping you out and answering questions. But actually, a lot of what you ask about has already been talked about. I suppose there is nothing wrong with asking questions that have already been answered, but try reading some of these other threads as well.

OK, those are my comments, I'll put the soap box away now.:biggrin_25525:

I have only been driving 3 years. 2,000 miles is the magic number for $1,000 a week when you add in unloading pay and hourly wait time. I generally run between 1500 to 3,000 miles a week.

I don't get every weekend off but in a years time I get as many days off as I would taking Sat and Sun every week. Its out there but you can't limit yourself to dry van. I am on track to make around 58K this year.

Bible thumpers on the CB are no problem for me...I turn it down until they fade away...If they're going the same direction as I am I'll break in and ask them to take it to another channel please...

If they refuse (They usually do) They have proven that they are not about anything but being an annoying ####### and that they aren't about their religion but are all about posing as being pious!

At that point, I'll usually take a break and let them get ahead of me because religious nuts are like buy here, pay here used car salesmen...They're not selling anything worth having!

The quickest way to shutup a CB preacher is to tell them you want to be saved. Most of them have never heard that and would not know how to respond.

Most of the morons that preach on the CB radio are so ignorant that they couldn't save anyone or anything if they tried!

    This is a good question.

The point of the Sabbath Day is because God worked 6 days and rested on the 7th. OK, This is good.

However, we invented the current Calendar. We created Sundays.

So, any day I am off is my Sabbath. That's my 7th day to slumber.

Relax and observe the day you can take off and realize that you have not failed the desire of your heart ... which is precious in His sight.

And as for CB Evengelists ... No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

    BIG RIGGER Thanks this.
