I wanted to say hello, this seems like a very lively board... I've been lerking for a couple days.

The He would be my husband and with the way things are going, we have been talking about going OTR together. I just have to get a CDL myself 1st. We have talked to quiet a few companies that would hire him and put me through school ( aka CDL mill). I would rather not go that route if possible. The one thing I have learned already is that the "good" companies probably wouldn't hire me right out of school, even if my husband was working for them. Even as a team. Not to say that all wouldn't, I just haven't run into that companies web-site yet.

Another thing I am finding out is that their is alot of difference between what ppl's experiences with certian companies are. Some good... some suck eggs.

    Giggles the Original Thanks this.

Well my husband took a job with J.B. Hunt. The company that we were going to go with had a problem with getting some of the info for my husband (previous company he worked for gave wrong info, we can prove) and the original agreement couldn't be met, the one the offered after that was unexceptable to my husband. Well gives me more time to look for a good school.
