Costing of the petroleum jelly on the magnetic door seal itself where it meet the fridge?
The top of the cabinet is fully vented, and has a wire grill over the top of it, so thinking the venting is ok.
The tech also wanted me to pull the fridge out and make sure the condenser isnt touching the body of the fridge at the rear.
After doing the stuff he suggested, if it still isnt happy, then he suggested running it on the floor to test the cabinet theory, but doesnt think that is a problem.
The thermostat is working, as it kicks off at number 5.5 out of 7, but never cycles off when on max.

As an update to this thread...
The fridge is now freezing meat and cheese at the top! Actually had ice on the top of a half gallon of milk last week too.
Removed the door seal, and the wife washed it in warm soapy water. Reinstalled it after the freezer had fully defrosted. Left the trya out when I turned it back on.
Noticed 1 spot where the condenser was really close to the body of the fridge in the back, so pried it away a little.
Seems to be working good enough now.
