I’m not trying to put you in blast here, but there are certain things I don’t want to touch or deal with with newer emissions sensors stuff, especially anything heat related. I’ve learned through out the years that sometimes it’s better to have someone who knows the issue to have them do/pay the work that takes them one hour then me spending the whole weekend trying to fixed what I broke trying to remove/replace a part, and yet it still ended up me hiring someone or taking it to the shop to fixed it. To the OP..... I feel your pain.... been there done that. Goodluck in a very positive way.

As many tools been knawin' on that sensor I'd day say he skeered' it outta there.

Darn lucky it came out with threads in tact.

How much down time have you involved just to get that sensor out, not to mentioned the loss of the core....

I’ve had 2 sensors replaced at different times (inlet and outlet Nox), I was charged 1 hour each time.

Mmm well i tried to replace it on saturday. But only out 1 work day (today) but total 3 days. Believe it or not, they actually took the core back lol i dont think they even looked at it honestly.

I just wish i could have found the 7/8 bolt extractor locally instead of having to order it off amazon.

It was pretty much my last resort to do this. With 6" os space above the sensor there, it was going to be difficult
