If it makes you feel any better(which it probably doesn't), it's the same way here in Canada. No way in hell will they give you results over the phone, as it just doesn't pay.

That being said, I hope it's something that can be taken care of rather easily for ya.

Condo, I can only imagine the stress this puts on you for the weekend. Hopefully this will turn out all right. You will be in my prayers.

The emphasis in the above quote is mine... and I am so glad you are taking the necessary steps to thwart any of the really bad stuff. I think had you been in need of immediate medical care, they would not have taken no for an answer on Friday. They would have seen you then or insisted that you come to the ER as soon as possible.

To the best of your ability, try to relax and enjoy your weekend. I'll keep you in my prayers, and am confident they'll be able to patch you up just fine!

I watched that special with Barbara Walters, Letterman and others. The cracked chest club, lol.

I been dreading it. I been living in the shadow of my two older brothers for years. My dad had his first heart attack at 45 and died at 46. Both my older brothers had heart attacks and bypass surgeries at 45. I'm almost 50. I'm the only one that smokes too. Go figure??

Since I been home I been trying to be more active to beat this diabetes. The past month I been getting short winded easy and get pains in my chest and throat. So I been taking it easy and put some projects on hold until I get fixed. Hopefully, it will be just a stent or two. But I'm ready for a bypass if it comes to that. I have plenty of experience watching others go through it, so I know what to expect. My heart doctor is one of the best in the area, so that's good.

I'll get that insurance company one way or another, lol. I know they hate me the past year. :)

Dead at 46 and brothers with surgery at 45 ??? What in hell are you trying to prove by smoking???? Your heart Doctor is only as good as the patient that listen to him and he sure as hell won't be telling you to light up.

I'm no celebrity but I had a double bypass just under 16 years ago. Two years after the surgery I said to the surgeon that he should have had a brain surgeon assist him as I felt so #### good that I went out and bought some new trucks and trailers again. :biggrin_2559:

I got the results. The right side, bottom and half way up in between the chambers of my heart are starving for blood flow. Now I know why I been feeling so bad.

I go in Wednesday morning for surgery. They are going to do an Angiogram and take it from there. Hopefully it's just a stent or two. I might need a bypass. He won't know until he gets in there. At least I caught it in time, if tomorrow don't get me. :)
