Hello everyone.
Apologies in advance of I'm sounding too needy or if the thing I'm looking for doesn't exist; but here we go..
I'm a full time NYC firefighter, and have several days off a week that I'm looking to drive tractor trailers.
My schedule is rotating so I'm always off different blocks of days each week.
CDL-A licensed one year now, but little experience - it's very hard finding a part time job driving tractor trailers when you don't have experience.
I'm a great new driver - can operate vehicles safely, and I'm alright at backing.. I'm just green.. need more time behind the wheel.
Been driving my firetruck for 3 years now, and I drive flat beds and boom trucks part time on my days off from the firehouse.
I'm 40 years old, non smoker, no drinker, happily married man.
USMC vet.
Hard working, easy to get along with, non weirdo and willing to put in the work.
If anyone in the NYC area needs someone for a few days here and there - or has any pick up work, or needs a guy last minute to jump in a truck for a day or two - please reach out to me.
