meaning, I would have to apply for SSN disability if the CSA stuff counted for overweight tickets, if the CSA point system actually puts drivers out of a job. Not saying it don't but I don't know of anyone that lost their job because their score was too high.

So, the comment about Democrat was a political jab which should not have been made.

Otherwise, you must not know very many because many are well off in the country.

I have many people that I know that vote the other party and they abuse the system as well.

I thought many people had the knowledge to know better than that.

    You started it.

All I am doing is showing the other side. I do not stand for either party.

Ok..what's going in here? We were doing so well, and still don't have a definite answer as to whether the driver receives the csa points for o.w. ticket.:biggrin_25513:

The carrier does not receive any points.

The driver does not receive any points.

Any time the driver receives points, the company does as well. Unless the driver is really bad, they both get points.

Some carriers are getting rid of drivers and owner operators who accumulate too many csa points. When the feds first started using the points, many who had been with their company for long periods of time were terminated. Insurance companies were not originally supposed to have access to the csa points, but that apparently is not the case. When it comes to having to change insurance companies, pay higher rates or lose business due to high scores, carriers will respond. If the insurance company is unwilling to cover a driver due to high scores, then the carrier cannot afford to keep them. I don't know if over weight tickets count on the scoring, but moving violations, maintenance and log book violations do count. I would be very interested to know for sure whether the over weight ticket count.
