I honestly would never own a daycab unless it was necessary for the job. I would not have a big sleeper either doing local work, but a small jump sleeper comes in very handy. I did local work for 5yrs with a FLD with a 36" sleeper and it worked fine. I can't tell you how many times I was so tired after a shift that I climbed in the back and took a quick nap. Not to mention the sitting and waiting at some shippers. I see all these guys in daycabs bent over the steering wheel grabbing a few zzzz's and it never made any sense to me. I'd have a bad neck in a hurry.

If you look around, the trucks with the small sleepers usually go for less than the daycabs and the big sleeper trucks and are just as easy to manuver as any daycab.
