It is a pretty good gig. Loading and unloading with a pallet jack is no big deal if electric. I myself love to do multi stop loads, as I like a little more of a challenge. Do you have a lift gate as well or is it all dock?

Keep it up man, I love seeing people do it right and make it happen.

Agree, love the multi stops. No lift gate. It’s dock or tailgated loads loaded from the ground level and then handled with my jack from there. Or brought to end of trailer with jack and unloaded from ground.

That is nice. A lot easier than using a lift gate and faster as well.

Haven't updated for a couple months, here is the rundown for March and April...

    March
    Total miles: 8,775 (5,989 loaded)
    Total revenue: $33,959.30
    Loaded CPM: $5.67
    All-in CPM: $3.87
    Truckin’ Expenses: -$4,897.71
    Fuel: -$5,143.71
    Driver Pay: $-6,000

    April
    Total miles: 6,436 (3,483 loaded)
    Total revenue: $21,832.23
    Loaded CPM: $6.27
    All-in CPM: $3.39
    Truckin’ Expenses: -$9,872.56
    Fuel: -$3,735.99
    Driver Pay: $-7,500

As expected for things winding down coming out of March and into April. Big expenses for those two months included going in for a U joint and an ABS wire problem that I couldn't figure out that turned into a new inner trailer wheel seal. Yearly truck registration came, as well as $9k in Q1 taxes. May is currently slow as expected, with a possible uptick in June or July, but an expected slower period here as summer hits. Hope everyone is doing well out there.

    Maintenance since January...
    - The usual filters, grease and service
    - Patched a rip in my old trailer's fiber roof
    - Tire was leaking, got the equipment and repaired a screw hole leak in the parking lot
    - Had the shop rewire ABS to get it working for blitz week, new U joint and inner wheel seal on trailer
    - Replaced HVAC/heater control module
    - Swapped out two drive tires with decent used
    - Replaced tractor air can hose, broke a fitting in the expensive ABS unit while doing so but able to extract with a spline extractor and save the unit
    - Replaced a fuse on the ABS wire
    - Replaced two trailer taillights and pigtails

Some fun pics of repairs over the last few months...

    - New starter put in
    - Bolt punctured trailer tire - bought patch supplies and patched it up
    - Snapped off an air fitting in my ABS module - bought a nipple extractor and thankfully got it out
    - New brackets for the old bumper
    - Swapped out leaky manifold for Full Tilt
    - Axle flange seal replaced
    - New steers on
    - Fuel line leaking air, had to get custom one made from local supply shop, and barely got it swapped (one of the mounts was behind the head)

Getting to get a lot of things done I see. Hopefully things are still going great for you even with all that extra stuff being done to the truck. I a side note I had a 1/2" bolt like that one in my drive tire a few yers ago. Managed to plug it good enough to get to the tire shop 20 miles away.

May and June are in the books and were as expected. Relatively slow with lots of time off. Just enough to pay the bills, stayed about even minus having to pay the big quarterly tax bills - $9000 worth of the truckin expenses.

    May
    Total miles: 5,183 (2,532 loaded)
    Total revenue: $12,793.56
    Loaded CPM: $5.05
    All-in CPM: $2.47
    Truckin’ Expenses: -$6,048.93
    Fuel: -$2,820.39
    Driver Pay: $-6,000

    June
    Total miles: 6,694 (3,635 loaded)
    Total revenue: $17,979.48
    Loaded CPM: $4.95
    All-in CPM: $2.69
    Truckin’ Expenses: -$7,840.36
    Fuel: -$2,943.80
    Driver Pay: $-6,000

    6-month pacing numbers...
    Total miles - 46,900 (93,800)
    Total revenue - $173,563 ($347,126)
Total expenses inc. driver pay - $98,399 ($196,798)
    All-in CPM - $3.70

Maintenance... all done myself besides the alignment.
    - Replace leaky stem on drive wheel
    - Filters and grease, top off fluids, adjusted brakes
    - Bumper bracket replacements
    - Replaced leaky exhaust manifold with new Full Tilt - real nice. Replaced manifold, turbo and oil gasket
    - Replaced ABS+air brake pigtail
    - Replaced a worn down trailer brake line that drug on the ground
    - Replaced a couple leaking exhaust clamps
    - New power divider line that wore a leak into it
    - Replaced leaking drive axle flange gasket
    - Two new steer tires, two steers shocks, valve stems and a steer axle alignment
    - Replaced right side drive axle air bags
    - Cleaned up and painted tractor and trailer frames
    - Rewired corroded wire on top of trailer clearance lights
    - Replaced the fuel out -> rear of engine head line

Thanks man! Same to you. Luckily no time lost for those repairs. Before that post though I did have to take a day off to fix those battery interconnect cables, got to the truck one morning and couldn't get it started for the life of me. Several hours of troubleshooting and finally got them fixed and resumed the next day. Crazy about the bolts - you'd never imagine a bolt could do that. I was actually able to un"screw" it right out of the tire, lol.

I had an issue similar to that with the older truck I had as well. Was the battery shut off switch causing all of the problems. Had to have it hauled to the Dealer since I had no where to work on it. The same thing on my tire with that 1/2" bolt. Heard a noise when I was doing my pre trip that morning and then seen it. Grabbed a wrench and unscrewed it and put in a couple plugs to hold It up. I thought for sure was gonna have to have someone come out and fix it on the spot. Those plugs work pretty #### good.

Tonight’s festivities. Go to check on the truck after sittin for several days and notice a puddle on the steer drum. Blown wheel seal. I’ve wanted an excuse to try out wheel bearings and inner seals so this worked out. Ended up doing the inner seal and outer bearing and race. Inner bearing was like new. Took about 5 hours altogether. Thanks to a few YT videos. Hope it works!
