O/O no more

That’s what happened to me, but it took me 9 months! Never again (i hope)

 

I love being the bearer of good news. While the DOT number isn't worth anything unless you sell the entire business with equipment and existing customers, your MC number could be worth something. Sold mine here on TTR late last year for $16k.

 

$16,000 isn't a great deal of money in the trucking industry.

 

It’s about $15,700 more than what it cost him to file for it when he got it.

 

It's not in the trucking industry, it went into my pocket because I left the trucking industry and didn't have to use it to pay for anything like fuel, taxes or truck maintenance. It took me all of 5 minutes to place the ad on TTR and probably a couple hours in emails, phone calls and document signatures to make $16,000. You have a rather skewed outlook on money if you believe that it wasn't worth the trouble. I worked a lot harder for a lot less in my pockets driving a truck.

 

Hmmm... Interesting perspective. I'm still in the industry and still profitable.... Soooo... there's that.

Somehow, I doubt your claims. Since your arrival on TTR, you've posted grand total of 55 times over 7 months with nothing but admiration for YouTube truckers (something a person new to trucking would do and very few profitable O/O's care anything about) and insults toward long established members. Not a single post about your job/company or your equipment which would lead one to believe that you either are a new driver, a wanabe driver, or a troll who gets his jollies pretending to be something he's not online. Whichever category you fall into, it really doesn't matter because I've decided that you're no longer worth responding to.

 

I guess I missed the part where post count validates one's vast knowledge. Would you be kind enough to help a fellow O/O and refer me to that section and or rule? Thank you in advance.
