Trailers are cheap compared to trucks........and no emissions systems (unless it’s a Reefer)

 

Trailers make you money. And depreciate very little. If you can’t afford to buy then rent for a few years from a place like Xtra. Do not however jump into a lease or you might as well be buying.

 

When renting, look for a flat rate only. Not a rental with a flat rate and mileage. Generally the rental covers all maintenance including tires, unless you damage a sidewall. Its important to do a walk around with the sales rep and note any damage.
