Are there any flatbed companies out there that hire o/o teams? Ive ran solo flatbed and i would like to continue flatbedding but looking to team with a partner. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!

Mercer takes them on. And during Nov. and Dec. teams here run really hard doing UPS freight. But that's pulling UPS vans power only.

Otherwise flatbedding is hard for any company to keep a team busy because so much flatbed shippers and receivers are not open outside of bankers hours.

Thanks need to drive, Flightline ill check mercer out, yeah I use to always have problems with shippers and receivers banker hours, I had been hoping maybe there was a company that had figured out how to keep guys running over the weekend, but I guess that would require more planning than a dispatcher would have time for, let alone it would all be based off of if the loads were delivered perfectly as planned and we all know that doesnt always happen.

Smokey Point Distributing out of Arlington, WA. Flatbed (conestoga/quick-draw/curtainside) flatbed teams running 2 rounds a week between the Puget Sound region of Washington and Wichita, KS/Tulsa, OK/Grand Prairie, TX right through your house 4 times a week. All brand new trucks, light actually VERY light freight. Our teams on that lane run well over 250,000 miles a year. In fact I know one father-son team who has 240,000 so far for this year so they have the miles. I'm not going to get into a peeing contest on here again over what I make but if you want to see what a solo driver can make here I'll e-mail you a copy of my latest pay-stub with YTD earnings on it. Lets just say in 25 years of driving I have yet to come across a company or work for a company short of Middle East contracts that pay more.

If your interested PM me and I'll give you a direct line phone number to the person who can push your app through.
