If you want to see some of the issues you will run across as an O/O I had an running thread when I went O/O It will show you some of the headaches I went through till I lost my truck.
With that I say be very Careful whom you lease to. They all will paint a pretty picture but when payday comes, instead of where the beef, you'll be asking WHERE THE MONEY.. 345.00 from Albany NY to Fresno Calif.. Would made more if I was a company driver........

I never said anything bad about one company at all, everything is true/facts.
-
Or a company driver with a truck payment.
-
I just spent two hours reading thru that WOW....you don't have much luck at all..
-
Oscar, I was just messing with you, thought it was obvious with my koolaid comment.

whoa, I messed that one up good. the heat must be getting to me. it's freaking hot here. spent three hours this morning tearing my dash apart to replace the abs light in the cluster. things like this make me wish I never got rid of my 91 pete. that truck was a breeze to work on, this 03 columbia requires bio engineered nanobots to get behind the dash.

even as a lease owner, you should be thinking like a business owner and not a truck driver.
If you are serious about it....
Track ALL of your expenses and everything involving your company truck as if you were an O/O.
After you get a feel for it and understand getting IFTA, IRP, UCR, HVUT etc, then take it to the next level.Rawze and Desert_Skies Thank this.
