No these aren't heavy loads that I do. Yes it's more money than you guys are paying for sure but the previous permit service I used charged $30 and they were horrible. Actually I think the price is $30 + $5 for the credit card fee.

Do your permit services do Canadian provinces as well?

We don't run in Canada, so I don't know. I was comparing $30.00 to the time it takes to order a single trip permit. No state permits take an hour to order, most can easily be done in 15 minutes, with some as low 5 minutes. .25 hr @ $30 equates to paying them $120. I could hire a very good permit person for far less per hour.

True enough if you can keep them busy.

Just a little info for you guys about South Dakota. If you come out of williston,nd oversized down us85 over to i90 the scale there in sturgis is your first port of entry and they will ticket you $175 for not having the permit prior to entering state. I did an 15'6" tall 11'6" wide hay load the other day and what saved my ### was i called the permit headquarters the night before leaving nd and they said to get it there. But the scale masters said they werent a permit seller. I proved i made the call and they let me off but gave the guy beside me a ticket for the same thing.
