Where are you coming from?

Adger Alabama, load of lumber.Probably take 287 from DFW north, then head west on 70 or 80.Roads are better on the east side of the Rockies, where I usaully travel.
Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
You’re pretty much stuck going north outta Walcott….goin north to 80 just to go back 130 odd miles south is kinda counterproductive
abyliks Thanks this. -
I haven’t ran the miles but I 80 to WY 789 that turns into CO 13 to Craig and run US 40 just east of Hayden to 20 mile road will be easier on your truck to the Peabody Mine.

So, how did it go? There was a forest fire south of there yesterday (Phippsburg)
-
Broke down at the moment, blown air bag.Air bag went out in the Floyd Hill construction zone.Im partway down the mountain at Georgetown.
I'm taking 70 to Wolcott,then north.
I saw news of the fire earlier. -
How about now? Wonder what you think of 131 in a loaded truck? Most seasoned veterans would never do it twice.

Made it in.The first 30 miles are all hills and curves, ran it about 25-35 mph. After that it was a regular 2 lane road.
Wouldn't want to do it in the winter.
The fire is still burning ,it's a few miles south of here.D.Tibbitt, ‘Olhand, Accidental Trucker and 1 other person Thank this.
