Hey thanks for replying to me yeah I’m getting ready to apply to over there I do know a guy that works over there and he’s told me a little bit but he just tells me it’s good he didn’t give me anything too specific. He stays out about a couple months at a time but that’s what he likes to do. I’m thinking about maybe running out of Elizabeth town and see how that goes if I want to run a little longer I’ll run some Otr. Sounds like a family oriented company people like it and the monies pretty good I’ve heard whatever comments you wanna provide that be cool

No no I’m not working here right now I’m saying I’m thinking about joining them. Do you got any tips? I might run the regional out of Elizabeth town PA

I just been shopping around myself.
Look for a company that pays for the things u do so u won't have to worry about mileage as much. Lots pay nothing extra for load and unloading. Sum pay for that and drop and hook
Then u can make sum money! -
I can't speak for the regional guys, but when I was in gen freight I was pulling a lot around that area, so I don't think you'll have too much of a problem. From what I've heard, even the regional guys run the occasional OTR freight because we're (or so I hear) turning down more freight than we're taking because of tight driver capacity.
And, in regards to the home time comment, i've stayed out 7 weeks, and i've stayed out 3 weeks, and i've made it home easily. Living in Texas is a gravy area to make it home. YMMV.Mike528 Thanks this.
