If you are going to be licensed (CDL) in your home state at your school, then get your hazmat now. If you are going to have to transfer your new CDL to your home state, wait until you do the transfer. Hazmat does not normally transfer from one state to another. So unless you want to pay for the endorsement, the background check and fingerprinting twice, wait until you get your home state license.

thanks for your info, think I will go with that sense im gonna be transferring after I get my year worth experience so I can be home every night .
