OCC / ACC insurance?

    I've looked on this forum and couldn't find another thread on this.

    Just looking to get OCC / ACC insurance for myself, probably $1mil coverage, any experience with what rates are?

    I've seen $138/mo but not sure if this is the norm.

    Also would like to know what kind of accidents (not driving, since auto insurance covers that) are typically covered with this, and if you've found it easy or difficult to collect on this in the event you got hurt on the job.

    I have one of these policies thru a local agent, it was at $56 a month IIRC and is going up to around $66 for the next ten years. I don't remember what all of the dollar amounts are as it was taken out ten years ago. My agent sent me some renewal paperwork that I have to go over the next time that I am home. I will jot down what the numbers are and post them here if you are interested.

    Mine is $148.50 thru Zurich so your good. It's to protect all parties if your hurt or killed on the job. Mine is a million aggregate. That's nothing if you linger in a hospital either. The million would go fast and mine is not a life policy either.

    But thanks, I need to re-read mine. I own the policy and have questions, that's not good.
