SO I JUST MET THE SAFETY GUY IN PAYETTE, what a Rude unprofessional #######. If he has a problem with my call sign being on my door, he. could of used a little more tact. So this is my first time being here maybe there is a unwritten reason I have been kept east of Boise. This guy was blatant rude. Never net anyone like that in May. Not drivers or Terminals operations. Anyone else have a bad experience with this old timer?

How is a call sign on a door a safety issue? While I know that we can't affix anything permanent to our trucks, I have seen a lot of trucks with stickers on windows and nothing gets said to anyone about it. Just curious if there is a different rule about call signs.

You cannot have any decals/stickers on the painted surfaces. You can have ones in good taste on the side windows as long as they can be removed with no damage to the truck.

    Dozzer6 Thanks this.

well, given that he can make your life with May a living Hell, or just as easily unemployed...I would just smile and tell him he is right, then ask him how his golf game is...
Think of the stupid crap you have seen drivers in general do, well May drivers do it all too!
Now, realize that he is accountable for all the damage those idiots do to their trucks, other people's cars, and property...
You would have a gruff, no nonsense, demeanor as well.

He is a super zero to me, he lost all credibility with me. I am not in boot camp. Every employee hand book covers his attitude. His position is important, his attitude or personality disorder is not welcome. Treat others how you want to be treated. If he is so safety oriented, why did he put his truck in reverse faster than 5mph in between the buildings from front to back but did not use his horn either when backing and excessive speed backing. He is a double standard prick, I hope he expires before he retires. I am done on this subject.

On a lighter note payette has a nice drivers lounge.

If it makes u feel any better platinum, I got 3100 miles this week sitting two days, and 3800 miles tuesday night when I deliver in alabama. U have to be do something wrong or black listed it has nothing to do with terminals getting bad loads like wheel holder said I've maybe gotten one week like that, for the other guy who left may because u found such a better company yet, you're on this may thread all the time for some apparent reason ive taken 7 days off 6 5 4 all the time it's ur relationship with ur dm and I've never clean my truck out

I am just not as good of cheerleader as you. Joker. My Dm is good, I respect bhim a lot and I like my terminal. I never been late for my own loads from pick up to delivery. I had 2800 last week and a reset, this week sat twice, load does not deliver tell Monday I can be there Sunday am. I came to May, because I want stability and a career. I never ask anything more than miles. I have met other drivers including a driver who use to be a dm, and now driving again. Yeah maybe blacklist because the in competencies of planning everyone equal. I live by the rule prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. I live that, I also guideline myself a initiative I took called pride, productive, responsive, integrity, dedicated, effective. So maybe my standards are higher than most. Joker, maybe its because your a trainer or been with company longer. I got friends who drive out of brooks. I make friends everywhere. Someone is too quick to judge, than to know my or other drivers capabilities. I take pride in my work, my truck and customer service. I make good report with shippers and receivers. What more can I do.People come here to make a living and provide for their families. Some people get paid weather you roll or not as we are literally on a pfp pay scale, maybe other entities should be on a pfp program too. If it wasn't for having such a good dm and so many nice guys out there I talk to on regular basis. I MAY.of been gone already. So thanks to you guys, you know who you are. Excellent role models for any company.
