I'll take your word on that as the smallest I have had in Georgia in many years is 15' 11".
And as Carl said, no more blue ink requirement on the Georgia permit, I noticed that the other day after I signed mine in blue. Alabama still requires red though so with that if anyone has a need for blue pens I have a few in my stash that I no longer need. (Banks supply their own blue pens and as far as I know the only other place required to use blue ink is mortgage documents.) -
Do you know how hard it is to find a red pen in any Truckstop near AL? Dang near impossible. I got to the point of thinking about pricking my finger and signing in blood the last time I was at Anniston. I just ended up signing it in black with an asterisk saying I don't have a red pen.281ric Thanks this.

depends on what your pulling, mobile homes and such need em regardless. its best to have it and not get caught with a 12' 1" .
oh the stories I could tell from my days of pulling mobiles and modular.
there was a reason ga and ala went to the colored ink, it was to easy to copy permits. they thought no one had color copiers I guess.
ga mobile home permits were issued by the serial number of the mobile home at the time, the serial number was usually spray painted on the front frame. white spray paint and a can of flat black and one permit for a three section mobile home. need I say more???
and with a little research on what type font to use , , a little white out, a copier , pair of scissors and scotch tape, you could solve any problem ya hadLast edited: Dec 19, 2014
