Why did they claim to reject it, they did actually tell you they over ordered, or did they?

Her exact words were: "We orderd to much of the product, and we refuse to accept it." My company got with National Beef in KC and i ended up taking it to a mom and pop place in Richmond. The guy there told me they would probably end selling it to SuperValu anyway. I couldn't help but laugh at that.. :biggrin_2559:

Pulled a load of "Ham Dingers" into a food warehouse in Calgary. There was a line of fat all around the rim of the cans. The whole load was condemed by the inspectors and I was given a real neat mountie escort out of the country. Got paid to bring the whole load back to the manufacturer in Chigago. Another time I took a load of bing cherries from Wash. to Hunts Point, when there was 6 pallets left in the trailer the receiver said the rest are rejected cause they had been froze. I knew it was B.S. so I asked for a FDA inspection. The inspector looked at the cherries and said "yep, they look froze to me" I can't prove it but I'm thinkin Mr. FDA Inspector has his hand in the receivers back pocket, if you know what I mean. I found out later that their cooler was full, so, anyway the shipper says dump em. I found a local guy that made some phone calls and we sold 6 pallets of cherries out of the back of the truck in about 4 hours. Never got a claim and had cash in my pocket. I love cherries!:biggrin_2559:

Sounds to me like someone was trying to steal that stuff by sneaking it out in a trailer that was supposed to be empty and picked up by someone else, but you spoiled their plans.

I don't get where people get their info. I bet that mechanic was a ASE certified book smart know it all. As a rule of thumb I probably should take 30 lbs of pressure. If the brakes are way out it won't take hardly any pressure for brakes to adjust.

Wrong.l Each is different when it comes to recording. In Indiana only one of the parties has to know of the recording, on the phone or in person. In Illinois the same actions is a Felony. Each state is different. If you record, know the law. If in Indiana and you call someone in Chicago & record the call you are legal. If in Chicago & you call Indiana & record, a Felony. The recording laws are based on the state your are recording in.
