% of Line Haul freight

If you had your pick would you rather get .42 for all miles or 25% of what the load pays

Thats kinda the point. Take the gaurantee on the .42 or roll the dice.

The day i gave up on the MILES MILES MILES B/S is the day i started to earn mad money.That was the day i was no longer brainwashed into the trucking industry indoctrination..That was the 1st day to a wonderful life i achieved while being a pee on truck driver..

I feel bad for the OP.. this industry can suck any soul dry if you aren't smart about it. It is such a shame. First off the loads you are hauling are being brokered.. there goes the original line haul rate down 10-25+%... then you aren't even being shown up front what your company is actually selling this line haul to you for.. you are just being told what you are "making"?! I call BS. If you are indeed your own entity, and you are able to haul your own loads, why not do that? It would be MUCH smarter to do so, then YOU are in control of saying yay or neigh to a load.. I don't get why you are being force dispatched and you are running under your own authority. There is no reason you can't make boat loads more than what you are.. you should be going after some direct freight and screw the brokers and their commission checks all together.
