    I guess you could look at the bright side. At least he didn't get a ticket for failure to stop at a posted crossing.

    I don't think his last check is going to cover those costs. I think his last years worth of checks might though.

    Just not enough speed. Maneuvers such as this require precise speed so you can not only clear the tracks, but stick the landing as well.

    Thanks to the link from MNDriver it makes more sense. Foggy conditions, foot into it, blow through a T-intersection, get the tumble dryer experience inside the cab, start swearing,... yep, makes more sense.

    It's not the link I was looking for. But contains a lot of the information that I was looking for. I had originally seen that first on "that'll buff out" back a few years ago.
