Officers shot W Memphis

Reports indicate that 2 suspects are dead as well.

The officers were shot during a traffic stop, then the Dodge Caravan was found at the West Memphis Wal-Mart where a second shoot-out took place in which two suspects were killed and two more officers wounded.

One of the dead officers is the son of the Chief of Police of West Memphis, as I hear it.

RIP to the slain officers, and I hope the other two survive.

 

iam glad to see that the shooters that shot at the officers got what they deserve.

 

Kill two cops and go hide at Wal-Mart. Not the best plan.

 

Well, despite all the talk that these were mexican drug runners responsible for the shootings, it appears as if they were committed by a couple of right wing, extremist, anti-government nutbags. Why am I not surprised in the least?

The guys killed the cops and then went to a golf country club and and asked a man where a Walmart was. The guy thought they were out of place as they were dressed not for a country club and looked rough. He noticed the white van and Ohio plates. After they left the guy's friend told him about the shooting and the white van and Ohio plates.

He put 2 and 2 together and called 911 and told them he just gave the guys direction to that Walmart. That's how the cops found them. He possibly saved more lives as the guys were probably going for hostages.

The sheriff and another cop got in the second shoot out. A wildlife officer then rammed the guys with his pickup ruining any escape. The cops filled the van with holes as both were shot themselves. One in the arm and one in the abdomen. They are okay now. I was shocked to hear one was the others 16 year old son. Here son, this is a good lesson. Take this machine gun and follow my lead. He won't get any father of the year award.
