I never quite understood this line of thought. Is it not his right to listen to the cb as much as it might be for someone to act a fool?

Just like with anything else in life, there's a time and place for it. The adults know when and where that is...

This thread brings up a good point from the good ol days back in the late 90s...I know we've all heard the BaBaBooey on the CB, but does anyone remember, at least out on the East Coast, the guys that would fire off the ol Booey Bawwww Bawww...in reverse and really draw it out? Stupid...but still a good trucking memory I had from back in the day.

 

I would have to buck the trend and say Fafa Fooey...

There was a pipeline rupture up here a bunch of years ago, up near Cadotte Lake AB, and there was one of those CBC satellite trucks parked in an approach on the side of the highway. There was a reporter facing the highway, with the cameraman shooting her with his back to the road. They had a bunch of vehicles along the highway so that you had to slowly crawl past and I hollered "Ba Ba Booey! Howard Stern's #####!" the cameraman gave me the finger. I hope it was a live broadcast.
