Spent the entire evening down at Just Rulers and I think I'm getting closer to a decision. The head service guy there spent about an hour and a half with me explaining all the different features. While I did appreciate his effort, his delivery and mannerisms reminded me far too much of the slick-talking salesmen over at Just Wives, who've completely flim-flammed me four different times already. Feeling a little pressured, I decided to go home and sleep on it rather than making another bad decision based on impulse and emotion. As I was walking out, I noticed a very short character staring at me from a culvert near the parking lot. I approached him, and in a gruff voice he told me he had "exactly what I was looking for." He pulled his left hoof out from behind his back and dangled the most awesome crystaline ruler in front of my face. He said it was once owned by the most prolific trucker ever and that when used with a map of MD, it would serve to make even I-68 a straight and level drive. Although I was distracted by the glittering sparkles of the moonlight dancing off the crystal's facets as he twirled it before my eyes, I distinctly recall hearing the term "3500 weekly miles guaranteed" in there somewhere. The fellow had a longish contract he wanted me to sign in exchange for this gem of a ruler, but the funny thing was that he didn't want any money. All I needed to do was prick my finger and sign with my own vascular drippings, and this gem of a ruler would be all mine. I hemmed and hawed a little bit, and he must have recognized that I'm a discriminating shopper, so he told me that if I agreed to meet him at the same exact place tonight at the same time, he'd keep his offer on the table.
So I guess what I want to ask here is whether anyone has any experience with used rulers. Would the aforementioned benefits of this particular ruler outweigh the fact that it comes with no extended warranty? Also, this guy seemed really trustworthy so I didn't take the time to actually read his contract. Do you think he'll be offended if I take my attorney along tonight to look it over when I go back to meet him?

Well if he is a "clear ruler" you should be able to "see right through" his sales pitch!rarudi Thanks this. -
Believe it or not those little rulers are harder to find than they should be

LOL LOL LOL, OMG I laughed too hard over that one. Some imaginations are priceless. At least you'll never grow bored over your imagination and can probably right stories while sitting.
