OH Bound - April 15

Got an email from Ellan today. Looks like they're changing things up a bit. As of May 1, all new drivers will be trained for the new line of Transformer KWs.

Getting close now. A few loose ends to tie up. Order the mail held. Make sure enough green is in the various accounts to pay bills til May 9. Dinner with family tomorrow followed up by a little shindig the neighbors put together to send me off. Cut the grass and do some laundry on Saturday and then dinner with a couple other friends. Likely will leave from PA around 11 Sunday. Earlier if I'm bored.

Only one snafu - the phone all of a sudden doesn't speak data. Got a warranty replacement today and it had the same problem. The guy from T-Mobistan SWEARS the one I get tomorrow will work. "Trust me - we're the tech experts." Pffft. Yeah right. I leave Sunday, pal. Backup plan is to just get a new & different phone. Didn't really want another expense, but waddaya gonna do?

I'm ready to get this show on the road...

PS: If the Mrs. does any gardening, get her one of those new-fangled hoses that expand when you turn the water on and shrivel up when you turn the water off. Great Mother's Day gift. I got three to reach to the back of my property from the spigot. They work just as advertised. All 3 (150 ft) now get stowed neatly in a milk crate. Could probably fit 3 more in there. $19.99 at WallyWorld for a 50 footer; cheaper on TV I think. Very light to hoist around, even full of water. I gleefully chucked the old rubber jobbies out by the shed with a FREE sign on them for the scavengers. I've always loathed hoses with a passion - until now.
