I think they should leave them all in the median for the whole winter, as a constant reminder.

 

Speed limiters would not have prevented this garbage

 

Pretty easy guidelines to me, weather must be the main factor, this includes fog, pile up must have a minimum of 3 trucks involved, and whoever comes the closest to the total amount of pile ups without going over wins. So are we at 2 for the season with Wyoming last week or am I missing any?
End date of contest would be May 1st, since some regions can still be iffy til then.

This always annoys me when someone asks on the radio. It’s either construction or an accident. I always give a smart ### answer. Either way you are waiting.

It’s like the 4 wheelers that keep weaving in and out of the lane to try and “see” what’s causing the backup, as if seeing it will somehow make it disappear. It just kills me!

 

Ehh its why my standard question is "any idea who screwed up and what lane is still open?" I dont always get an answer but at least then im not the dude trying to merge in at the last second when everyone was saying "X lane is open" 45 mins ago.

 

That question is ok. But just blindly asking “hey did something happen?” is maddening. Yes of course something happened. We didn’t all just stop and engage in a game of flag football in the median.

 

I like to make up ridiculous stories when the back up radios get turned on.
