this might be too late but i am going to clark state community college in springfield ohio. i seriously did my homework on driving schools in central ohio. i am not eligible for any type of grant or funding so i forked out $4700 so not completing the course isnt any option for me. not that i wouldnt want to finish since thats what i am there for. anyway, the 4700 includes 2wks of class, 1 wk of skill course--backing, 2wks of driving, all books and atlas',hazmat background check, college credits and the use of their equipment to take the cdl exam. did you know some schools charge you for that? the equipment is decent and the instructors seem to know their business. i may be more critical than most since i have been in the trucking industry for many yrs just not as a driver and my husband drove for many years before he retired. good luck
