But then you trust a minimum wage kid to find all the zerks. I am sure they will be diligent in making sure not to miss one, and making sure they clean the grease fitting off before greasing.

To thin of oil will trash any engine it may take a while depending on the specifics.
Think about having diesel fuel in the oil, it doesn’t take much to reduce the viscosity and then filters start to fill up with small metallic particles.

Most of us are running 40w. 5w40, 15w40, it's all the same when the engine is warm.

    LOL.

"I'm anxious to see the oil analysis results on this olive oil. I sprung for the extra virgin."

Nah, olive is no good, coconut oil has higher burning threshold.

I know we're derailing, but have you ever used grape seed oil for cooking? Has a seriously high flashpoint, and you can get stuff really hot without burning the oil.

    shooter19802003 Thanks this.

Nope, I don't cook at high temps, considering it as not healthy, mostly simmer at mid range. Grape seed oil is good for other things)

Be careful where you store it
I had a bottle of it in my upper cabinet, made pasta and use it with some balsamic vinegar for the bread
Well. Opened the cabinet and it fell down and cracked my cooktop $300 for a new one. Already at the house

My son goes. Don’t tell any of your trucking friends that story. I’m sure your real world problems aren’t so bad in your truck compared to others

There are olive oil shops popping up that have oils that cook at all temps
I never knew there were so many variations
They have dipping and frying oils
