So my truck has recently been leaking more oil than usual. I decided to take a picture, let me know if any of you guys see this as unusual because I think it is but I’m not sure. Thank you in advance.

Pretty hard to judge scale from your picture. Could be a 3inch puddle or 3 ft. How long did truck sit to make that puddle.

Doesn't take much to look like a lot

Puddle is about 6 inches wide. It took about 1.5 hours to make

I'd find out what's causing it at least. Then reevaluate from there.

Yes that is what I am going to do, I’m just curious if that color is the cause of two liquids mixing. I see it’s come from a whole directly underneath the clutch

The brown colouring is oil mixing with clutch dust.

Most likely the rear main seal is blown. Could possibly be from another source inside the housing but 95% of the time its the rear main.

I was told in the past to wait til I need a new clutch to change it. Would you say this is cause for concern?

Its your call. Personally I'd do it sooner than later and put a new clutch in while the transmission was out.

As long as you're going to have it apart-

Replace the carrier bearing, clutch, bell housing gasket, and rear motor mounts.

You guys are the best! If it weren’t such hard times with fuel and rates being so low itd be first on my list. I’m going to have to budget it in. Really appreciate you guys thank you so much
