Oil pressure Issues 2015 Freightliner Cascadia

    Hello having issues with my oil pressure. Truck runs for days or months then out of the blue oil pressure gauge fluctuate and truck jerks a little, then check engine light cuts on and oil light comes on and pressure drops to 0. Pull over then pressure goes back to 30. Take to shop but all they say is it needs a regen and changed my oil pressure sensor. After the fourth time this happened went to a new shop with the same issue and check engine light on. They changed my high pressure line kit. This was Monday today is Wednesday and the truck jerked and the oil pressure gauge went crazy parked. Has anyone else have these issues?

    Detroit engine have or had trouble with oil pickup tube. Something about it plastic in the DD15 engines and I think the seals go bad from engine heat. The rubber seal cracks or something and then it suck air instead of oil up from oil pan. Just a guess that might be you problem.

    stop the truck. change the suction manifold. if odometer is near 700k change oil pressure sensor too..
