The cummins around 05 had a delvac sticker. And that was the only oil it liked. Although delo was a good backup.
The cummins i have now is a delo sticker. I'm guessing it's a 10 block. And delo is all it likes.
Those stickers aren't marketing campaigns.
Those stickers are real info.
Anything not marked on the sticker. Doesn't work as good on the motor.
I recently tried delvac on the isx motor I'm driving now. It didn't go well at all.

All the oils the same, just different additives. Mostly detergents, and anti-faoaming agents. That’s why certain additives will improve oil or fuel. As far as oil and fuel or gasoline. It’s literally all refined the same, coming from the same batch.then additives make the difference.
