Man I hate to say it, but that sounds crappy. Hell up there the money should be way better then here in Oklahoma. Here you can find water all day at 20-22/hr with OT, and no maintenance required by you. Usually 5/2 or 4/2 schedule. It gets cold in oklahoma, but not dakota cold lol.

Its trucking. No one in trucking has to pay OT, but some companies, such as the one I work for, do pay OT.

In ND, any good driver is making 6 figures per year running legal right now. If not, you're selling yourself short.

Unless you’re a 1099 employee......

We've got decent benefits. Alflak and vision and dental and health along with pretty good housing. I got back yesterday afternoon and slept for a few hours and ended up going out last night since the frost laws are now in effect. My last loaded didn't go great lmao. I had to sit for a few hours and wait for a pull but I was out after 3 or 4 good tugs. We went from hardly keeping 4 trucks busy to now needing to get the 7 trucks we have now going again along with adding tag axles to all of them. We'll see where things are money wise at the end of the year. I'm now slip seating and running at night. I can't stand slip seating but I like running at night. I like My boss a lot so I guess I'm in no hurry to leave even if I'm not making the most money and at 21 I'm sure it won't be easy to get hired elsewhere.
