He paid his debt to society. So, why is this news?

He has it made; a paid for home in Florida and a $25,000.00 monthly NFL pension.
The reason he moved to Florida is because his home and pension is safe from lawsuits; that's Florida law.

 

Funny thing about Fl not wanting him...

They didn't run off Anthony Casey, George Zimmerman, various rappers with records for dealing, murder, or any other infamous folks. Casey is still there, Zimmerman moved on his own, but not forced out. I say all this because one of the excuses FL is trying to give is his record, cost of extra police due, etc etc. A state already the butt of a ton of jokes, full of drugs from the keys to jacksonville, an their worried about OJ?

Surely FL officials have better things to worry about then where OJ calls home.

Unlikely, Nevada wants him to stick around either, but can't stop him from living there.

Simpson submitted a parole release plan for a residence in Las Vegas, according to a statement from the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation. His case was assigned to an officer in the division's Southern Command, Las Vegas, the statement said."
