    My wife is trying to find a way to get me professional help for my addiction. It looks like my basement work room and that's only less than a third of what I have.

    I would change that astatic mic for a Ranger SRA 198, then you will have a radio......
    Pick up one or two on Amazon. There the the least expensive.
