If you run the boat on the surface and larunch using the same prediction system system as destroyers have, then dive before visual detection it works pretty well. Use the sonar ping close to the end. If you ping to early they know torpedoes are coming.




Edit: I think the german subs are like DOT crossed with hells angels. Obviously if you have a chaffed brake line your truck. The cargo and the truck should be dumped into a quarry pit. Then there would be no chaffed air lines. Or blown up on the scale house lot.
