I'm not certain, but I think it's the mirror itself that is first removed which gives you access to more screws that you can unscrew. There should be a switch on the inner-side of the mirrors edge that you can flip-up to take the mirror right off. I'm just guessing, but I hope it helps...

Look for a round plug in the cover somewhere, possibly black and on the bottom.
Or... The mirror glass might pop off and the cover stays. I have a Columbia and different mirrors but have re done my coax as well. The mirror brackets are the same, just the housing is different.
Are you redoing the coax? I can walk you through it if you like. You'll need a Torx screw driver #25 or 30 I think. -
Yeah that's what I'm trying to do

If there are screws holding the cover from outside, they will be under a plastic plug.
You will likely need to pull the inner door panel off. Are you prepared for that much work right now? It's going to take some time but will be worth it. -
Yeah I'm on my 34

they are putting double sided tape also on these covers so they are very hard to take off even after removing the screws ... a lot of time they break in the process

Yeah I figured it out its has two metal bands that hold the mirror on take the mirror off then you can take the back off getting the mirror back on is a pain tho. Got my radio working tho thanks
-
Are you feeding new coax through ?
-
Yeah I used the mirror mounts. Ran new wire on both sides into a T and then up to my radio. I just wanted to delete using that ant. Box in the dash
