Don't fret it. We get that you wish to be an OTR truck driver but you do not like the 100+ year old system of compensation.

The issue you should consider though is the concept of exceptions. Sure for the most part in the United States it is a 40 hour work week with overtime paid after 40 hours. However, there are exceptions to this rule and OTR trucking is one industry that applies to.

Life cannot be viewed solely as 1=1. 2=1 is a common reality for many ideas.

Our founding fathers grasped the idea of 2=1 with: 'We the People'. 'We' is more than one or two conceptually. 'The People' is conceptually just one. "We the People" means: 2=1.

So yes, OTR trucking pay is not fair based on 40 week notions, however OTR trucking pay structure is fair because in America 2=1.

Don't fret, I had to deal with a bunch of them today, drivers ... you know? ... PFFT!!, they expected to have their ***** kissed while making the big bucks sitting in a new truck that they bang up within a month.

Well ... don't need to know your personal life there dude, if you are sleeping with misrible people, maybe you need to find better people to partner with.
