Where are you going to live if you quit? Local construction work in Vegas ought to be decent and pretty easy to get.

Had a dispatcher for 8 years until she got moved up into management. She was a waitress before. Young and attractive. Thing is, her drivers hated her. She would call drivers on the phone, start an argument, and the driver would pull a load that he didn’t want to pull to prove a point to her. That made ZERO sense to me. If I own the truck, why in the blue blazes would I ever argue about a load?

Was in JacksonvilleFL, got a 2for1 to pull a garbage load from Jacksonville to CharlotteNC and then a decent load out of SanfordNC. I told them on the Qualcomm that I would take the Sanford load. Dispatcher calls me on the phone trying to start an argument. Even said something about ‘being man enough’ about something. Blah blah blah blah blah…

30 minutes later, they gave me the load. Out of Sanford. Point is, don’t let anyone push your buttons. If you have buttons that can be pushed, fix that. If a desk jockey can push your buttons, the desk jockey controls you. Mom didn’t raise an appliance. OP, figure out how that nasty woman got under your skin to make you quit. She would have to prove to me that she could whup my arse in a parking lot before I quit.

No matter where you go, you will have people trying to push buttons. Get rid of the buttons.

    Six back quiet.

Central Oregon would be a solid choice. They make really good money.
