okay how much money you brokers make moving loads

It's more than just ### kissing. There's a full on degree of corruption in the dry van world.

 

What is meant by that is a customer wants a carrier that doesn't drop their load for one $50 more. Customers don't want a carrier with a whole list of "i don't"s
Customer doesn't want one rate in the morning and a different one 2 hours later. Many don't want to deal with a factoring company. They don't want to hear the load you were on you cant do.

 

I gotcha. Yeah, brokers make things more convenient for both sides. That's why I agreed with the first half of the post. Now with clarification, I also agree with the second half. If you want that convenience, then don't ##### about it when it isn't free.

 

That's interesting. Cause anyone that wants in one of my trucks is obliged to play by those same ideals.

As soon as a guy starts telling me what he won't do, I've already lost interest in this individual.

 

As soon as i hear the words "I don't" from a prospective driver, my eyes glaze over and i start thinking about what i'll have for dinner.

Most of my customers view is the same. Doesn't mean that you can't have specific lanes you run.
