As a car dealer I can tell you that you will never get rid if dog or cat hair once it is in carpets and other unseen areas of a vehicle. I have taken the carpet out, vacuumed with high powered vacuums, scrubed, used those lint pick up rollers with tape on them, and finally pressure washed with a 3000 lb pressure washer. Once pet hair works its way into carpet fibers it is there, unless you want to pull thousands out one at a time. Once the smell in in the HVAC system, good luck there if it is bad.

I usually have to sell the vehicls as a pet vehicle, or pressure wash, and then dye the carpet and hair together. You can still see the hair, but not as much. A vehicle with hair on the carpet and seats brings considerable less at the auto auctions, and on the lot.

Before hating on me, I used to have a house dog, car/truck dog combo. I never paid attention to what damage my poodle was really causing until I didn't have it for a while.

Just a quick note so it sends me updates on how you are doing. Good luck. Sounds like you will do fine as you seem to prepare before you leap off and would appear to be very organized.

I've been updating on another thread "I'll get by with a lot...". I've been pretty focused on the job at hand and haven't gotten back to this thread. All is going well, finished Day 7 today...off tommorrow. I'll welcome the time off but I'd rather be getting more time on the range. How are things in Rachacha?

Not just backing in to something, backing into EVERYTHING! Good to hear from you Nanernut!:biggrin_25525:
All is well, I'm at a point now where I thing I'll make it! Talk about getting a dose of humility, I'm now subservient to big metal boxes that have a mind of their own.:biggrin_25514:

:biggrin_25522:We're giving the instructors, cones, and gears a day off today. BBQs are happening all over the motel grounds. I've got my share of ribs coming from one of the female students who's doing her special sauce recipe. We slept in this am. Roomie from Ohio fixed breakfast: Home fries, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, toast, coffee, and OJ. i'm doing kitchen cleanup. Small price to pay for that breakfast, I tell ya! Ribs, potato salad, baked beans and such will come later.

When I say, "It's all good", I'm here to tell you, "IT'S ALLLLLL GOOD!":biggrin_25525:
